NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION MONTH
September is New Zealand's month for spreading awareness of suicide prevention. This allows organisations within the Ministry of Mental Health sector to get the public's attention and gets society highly involved. Suicide prevention is emphasized with a greater spread and it also increases promotion of resources and capabilities that organisations have to offer - for free and for your safety. Lifeline, Healthline and Samaritans are just to name a few.
This website was created so any person can seek help for their abnormal behaviour and thoughts. Other programmes for different illnesses and contact numbers are also listed as there are many probable factors that lead those to commit suicide. This platform also gives the reader a better understanding of why suicide may occur and display possible ways to deter it from happening. Motivation is our main intent and to remind everyone, who are going through tough times, that there is more to witness than just today, there is tomorrow. Never Give Up.
